Payouts
Can I have the payout sent to someone else’s account?
No. The destination account must be in the exact name of the verified person, with no exception.
This is a regulatory obligation, not a commercial preference: paying a third party breaks the trace to the ultimate beneficiary of the funds, which is precisely what anti-money-laundering rules exist to secure.
The check is mechanical on several rails. In the euro area, verification of payee compares the name entered with the real holder before execution. In Nigeria the NIP rail resolves the name with the receiving bank. On those rails a different name blocks the transfer automatically.
A joint account you co-hold is accepted. A business account you represent is a separate case to open before the order.
Going further
This article does not cover your case?
Open a ticket with the order number and, if it concerns a deposit, the transaction hash. Those two items are usually enough to settle it with no further exchange.
