What we set, and what we do not
No advertising cookie, no social network pixel and no audience measurement tool is installed on this site today. The choice panel exists anyway, and it works: the day a category is switched on, your earlier refusal will be honoured without you having to give it again.
A cookie is a small file the site writes into your browser. Some are indispensable — without them you do not stay signed in and the site forgets your language on every page. Others measure or target: those require your prior consent, freely given, specific and revocable.
That distinction is not ours to make: it is set by electronic privacy rules and confirmed by supervisory authority guidance. An audience measurement cookie is not “strictly necessary” merely because it would be useful to us.
The rules the panel follows
A compliant cookie banner is not a matter of styling, it is a list of verifiable constraints. Here are ours, and you can check them on this very page.
- Refusing is as easy as accepting: both actions sit at the first level, with the same number of clicks and the same visual weight. No tiny grey button next to a full-width green one.
- No box is pre-ticked. Optional categories are off until you tick something.
- The choice is granular: you can accept one category and refuse another, with no all-or-nothing.
- Browsing is not consent. Scrolling, clicking a link or dismissing the banner with the escape key sets nothing.
- A refusal is remembered for as long as an acceptance. We will not re-ask on every visit hoping to wear you down.
- The choice is revocable at any time, from this page, in one action.
- No tracker wall: the service stays fully usable if you refuse everything.
Strictly necessary
Without them the site does not work: they carry the language, the session and the record of your cookie choice. They serve no measurement purpose and are exposed to no third party.

They remember comfort settings that change nothing about the service. Refusing them degrades no feature: the site simply falls back to your system settings.

If a tracker is ever added
We cannot promise no measurement tool will ever be installed. We can commit to the procedure: the tool will be named on this page, with its issuer, its lifetime and its hosting country, before being switched on; the panel version will be incremented; and your consent will be asked again, never presumed.
